Description: Craniummon was the royal knight who appeared before Suguru and BanchouLeomon when they were seeking out Yggdrasil. He refuses to take them to him and fights the two. He loses and Yggdrasil reveals himself to Suguru and BanchouLeomon.

When Masaru and co. try to approach the world tree, Craniummon stops them as he is the guardian of the tree and Yggdrasil. He is almost defeated by Masaru and ShineGreymon but is saved by the other royal knights.

Craniummon fights Masaru and ShineGreymon again when they try to once again reach Yggdrasil and the world tree. This time he equips himself with his shield Avalon that prevents ShineGreymon from damaging him. He is close to victory over ShineGreymon and Masaru until Touma and the others show up. The group manages to destroy his shield so he lays down his spear and allows the kids to pass. (This battle with Masaru changed his mind about destroying the human world and following Yggdrasil without questioning him.)

After his battle with Masaru, Craniummon enters the human world and takes over holding up the digital world from BanchouLeomon on Mt. Fuji. At one point he is almost unable to continue but the emotions of all the humans around the world give him a surge in power. Later on, his comrades betray Yggdrasil and join him in holding up the digital world. Craniummon returns to the digital world with his comrades once Yggdrasil was defeated and the dimensional barrier was restored.
