Yoshino has managed to bring Masaru and Agumon into DATS headquarters. Masaru continues defending Agumon but Commander Satsuma says all Digimon who cause trouble must be reduced to digitama and sent back to the Digital World. We then see a Digimon walk in with a digitama and place it in a transporter which sends it back to the Digital World. They briefly explain the process and Kudamon says it is now Agumon’s turn. They try to seize Agumon but Masaru causes a distraction and the two escapes. However, Masaru leaves behind his digivice and Satsuma discovers it.

Masaru disguises Agumon as a box and the two sneak back to Masaru’s house. Masaru gives Agumon food and realizes how Yoshino lied about Digimon only being able to eat Digimon food. Masaru’s mom is heard coming and Masaru has to hide Agumon in his closet. His mom comes in but he manages to get rid of her. Agumon comes out of the closet asking why he forced into a closet. Masaru says if anyone finds Agumon they’ll take him back. His mom comes back in saying she heard something, but Agumon runs onto the balcony. Masaru’s little sister screams causing Masaru’s mom to think it is a UMA (something like the abominable snowman, lochness monster, etc.) Masaru runs onto the balcony to see Agumon rolling off the roof because of a cat.

Masaru and Agumon land on the ground where Yoshino is waiting for them and requesting permission to erase their memories from DATS headquarters.

It is now night time and Masaru wakes up in his bed screaming for Agumon. He runs downstairs to discover his family eating dinner with Agumon and Yoshino. He asks why Agumon is eating his mom’s meal and Agumon says because Sayuri (his mom) said he could. Masaru pulls Yoshino aside and asks why she is there. She says she was ordered to keep him and Agumon under surveillance. They all go to bed with Masaru still angry about Yoshino sleeping over.

In a computer room some where a Digimon appears in the human world.

It is now morning and Masaru is about to go to school. Agumon asks if he can go and Masaru says sure. Yoshino says he can’t go but Agumon begs. She returns Masaru’s digivice to him and tells him to store Agumon in there if he must tag along. Masaru puts Agumon inside and takes off.

On the way to school Masaru realizes Yoshino if following him. She tells him if he wants her to stop following him he must join DATS. On the way Masaru notices a large crowd at his sister’s school (her name is Chika). In the back Masaru finds his sister who explains all the chickens and rabbit are missing. Yoshino tells Masaru a Digimon did this. By now Agumon has left the digivice voluntarily which surprises Yoshino.

Later that night, Masaru, Agumon, and Yoshino return to Chika’s school and Masaru locks Agumon in the cage where the chickens were so he will be bait. As the moon disappears behind the clouds, a little boy appears (the one who was in charge of the chickens and rabbits) Masaru approaches him and asks why he is out there so late. The little boy tells Masaru to shut up and Yoshino says there is something weird about him. The little boy says he never wanted to take care of the chickens and rabbits. He then passes out and a Digimon (Kunemon) appears.

Yoshino pulls Raramon out of her digivice and begins fighting the Digimon. Raramon is knocked out so Masaru tries to get Agumon out of the cage but he doesn’t remember the combination on the lock.

Yoshino digivolves Raramon into SunFlowmon. She attacks with Sunshine beam thinking they have won. However, the Digimon evolves into Flymon. Flymon uses some spores which paralyzes Yoshino and SunFlowmon. Masaru tries to digivolve Agumon out of the cage but he can’t make his digisoul appear. Masaru then attacks Flymon on his with a punch. This causes his digisoul to appear and he evolves Agumon into GeoGreymon. GeoGreymon attacks with Megaflame reducing Flymon into a digitama.

The old man who gave Masaru a digivice appears and says this world must be too small for Masaru’s will to fight but says the Digital World would have tons of formidable foes.

At DATS Headquarters Flymon’s digitama is sent back to the Digital World and Masaru appears asking to join DATS. Commander Satsuma accepts his request.

Aboard an airplane, Touma and his partner Gaomon are returning to Japan.
