SaberLeomon has appeared in Mercurimon’s lair. He has come to discuss the humans and is for attacking the human world and wiping them out once and for all. Mercurimon says they must only destroy those who have invaded their world. SaberLeomon leaves angry that Mercurimon won’t join up with him.

Ikuto and Falcomon continue to evade Hashiba’s men. Eventually they’re spotted, and cornered but Masaru and Yoshino drive up and race them away.

As SaberLeomon is leaving, Gotsumon tells SaberLeomon that he wants to fight for him. Gotsumon says he has much experience in the human world and just requires some troops.

Masaru and Yoshino bring Ikuto to HQ and Touma tells them they’ll need a counter plan because of what has happened with Hashiba. Satsuma and Kudamon tell them they need to move Ikuto to a safer place and Masaru says his house will do. However, Ikuto and Falcomon run away again.

Ikuto and Falcomon travel throughout the city and Ikuto thinks about Gotsumon attacking him. He tells Falcomon to go back to the digital world. When asked about him going back, he says he doesn’t belong anywhere and runs away from Falcomon. Meanwhile, Masaru and co. continue looking for Ikuto.

Day turns to night and they’re still unable to find Ikuto. Masaru is told a Digimon signal has been detected...a lot of them. Masaru sees an invasion army of Pteramon flying over the sky. Yoshino sees Boarmon rampaging throughout the city. Satsuma orders the evacuation of the city and relocates his team to effectively fight the invading Digimon.

Gotsumon appears and orders his army to begin bombing the city. Pteramon open fire with their missiles and the Boarmon chase down the humans. Agumon and co. evolve to their ultimate levels and begin fighting Gotsumon’s army.

At HQ Satsuma and Kudamon realize the three won’t last much longer. Satsuma pulls out his digivice as if he is about to go fight but then Hashiba enters the room.

Megumi and Miki appear with their black and white PawnChessmon to assist. They evolve their Digimon to KnightChessmon. Gotsumon announces that his forces will stop attacking for one hour and will return to the digital world under two conditions. The humans destroy their digital gates and hand over Ikuto. The kids refuse to give in but Hashiba says the deal sounds great which angers everyone. Satsuma says that the government over rules them and they must accept it.

Ikuto appears and says he is ready to go with Gotsumon. Ikuto says he isn’t wanted anywhere and has no home. Masaru tells him if he doesn’t have one then he needs to make one. Gotsumon tries to end the drama by taking Ikuto but Falcomon appears and knocks Gotsumon away. They have a touching reunion and the two vow to fight the army together. Falcomon evolves into Peckmon. Seeing the truce has fallen through, Gotsumon orders his forces to attack once more.

A weird man watches from atop a building and notices how hopeless the battle is for DATS. He presses a trigger button and a massive digital gate opens, sucking up the invading Digimon army.
