Miki tries offering Ikuto some food to make him feel better but he refuses to come out. In the control room, the group analyzes the digital gate that saved them and wonders where it came from. The weird man who opened the gate appears and introduces himself to Agumon. Satsuma recognizes him as Kurata, former assistant to Professor Daimon. Hashiba enters and reveals Kurata was the one who opened the gate. Kudamon scolds Kurata for not following regulation and allowing them to send the Digimon back as eggs but Kurata ignores him and instead asks to see Ikuto so he can examine him since he has lived in the digital world for so long. Megumi alerts the group that Ikuto is trying to leave the HQ. Masaru stops him and tells him to come live at his house so that Hashiba and Kurata don’t get their hands on Ikuto.
Masaru brings Ikuto and Falcomon (who is in a box hiding) home and introduces them to Chika. Chika removes the box Falcomon is hiding in (he was hiding because of their previous encounter) and to Falcomon’s surprise, she tells them they stink and needs baths instead of bringing up the past. Masaru and Agumon decide to join the two in the bath tub. Later that night, Ikuto and Falcomon enjoy dinner with Masaru’s family. After dinner, they play a board game in which you get a knot on your forehead if you mess up the pile of chips. Ikuto messes up the pile and gets a knot on his forehead. Sayuri and Chika briefly talk about how the family has changed for the better since Digimon have came into their lives and the night ends with a pillow fight.
In SaberLeomon’s lair, Gotsumon apologizes for his failure in the human world. SaberLeomon remembers the day the humans massacred the Digimon and says he will destroy the humans himself.
It is morning and Ikuto spots who he thinks is Frigimon, but is really Sayuri. He tries to run away but Masaru stops him. The commotion is interrupted by Masaru being informed that a mega level Digimon has appeared. Ikuto tries to leave so he can sacrifice himself but Masaru knocks some sense into him and leaves to handle the Digimon.
In the industrial part of town, SaberLeomon has appeared and is causing massive destruction. Lilamon and MachGaogamon fight SaberLeomon but are no match. Masaru and Agumon arrive and Masaru gets his digisoul, evolving Agumon into RiseGreymon. MachGaogamon and Lilamon pick themselves back up to fight with RiseGreymon. Their attacks don’t even reach SaberLeomon who simply turns around and crushes all three. Ikuto and Falcomon arrive to see them getting crushed. Ikuto tells SaberLeomon to stop who responds by telling Ikuto he is human and will never understand digimon’s feelings about the day the humans attacked. Ikuto is knocked away by SaberLeomon. Masaru tries to get RiseGreymon to continue fighting but he is too weak. A strange Digimon appears and fires a beam at SaberLeomon which seems to paralyze him. Masaru takes the opportunity to attack and breaks SaberLeomon’s fang. This inspires RiseGreymon to continue fighting. RiseGreymon destroys SaberLeomon with a trident revolver. However, his digitama vaporizes. Kurata appears and congratulates them on their victory. Touma alerts the group that the Digimon isn’t one ever seen before. Back at Masaru’s house, Masaru and co. enjoy dinner. Later that night, Masaru and Ikuto take another bath. Ikuto asks Masaru if it’s really ok for him to stay there, and Masaru says it is. |
