Kouki, Nanami, and Ivan are back at their camp and Kouki is punching a tree because he is angry over their loss. Kurata interrupts Kouki and tells the trio to devote themselves to hunting Digimon for now.
Yoshino tries to use her digivice to evolve Raramon but sees that it is really broken. Masaru tries to cheer the group up by saying that if they reach his dad then they can be repaired. Touma says they need to find a place with leads on his dad. Masaru and Touma agree to head to Wanderer’s Cape where they found the computer earlier in the series. Masaru begins to head off but Touma pulls him to the ground so he isn’t seen by Kouki and co. who are searching for them. Masaru tries to get away so he can fight them but Touma is able to hold him at bay. The group makes it to Wanderer’s Cape where the mansion is suppose to be but instead a Dojo is found. It is called the Digisoul Dojo and BanchouLeomon is waiting for them. He asks the question, “What is the digisoul?” Masaru asks him what the hell he is talking about and BanchouLeomon repeats himself. They try to answer but none of them know. He tells them to follow him into the dojo and they do so to learn what BanchouLeomon knows that they don’t. Their Digimon try to go in as well but BanchouLeomon says they need to wait outside and the next time they see their masters they’ll be stronger.
Inside the dojo, Masaru attacks BanchouLeomon because he is lecturing but BanchouLeomon evades it. BanchouLeomon tells the kids once they are able to destroy some wood men they will complete their training. He also tells them if they don’t overcome it then everything they do in the future will be futile. Touma tries to leave but BanchouLeomon has constructed a barrier. He tells them they can’t leave until they complete their training. Masaru attacks a wooden figure and BanchouLeomon tells him that his fists aren’t the only source of strength, but also his heart and courage. The wooden figure stands back up and they begin training.
Outside Agumon, Gaomon, and Raramon are waiting for their partners. They wonder if they can trust BanchouLeomon. Back inside, Touma and Masaru are fighting the wooden figures but for some reason Yoshino is just watching (wtf? Lazy women!) Outside, the three Digimon play hopscotch but are interrupted by Kouki, Nanami, and Ivan who digivolve. Masaru and co. continue training but stop when they feel the building shake. Outside Agumon, Gaomon, and Raramon are being beat up by Kurata’s minions. The three vow to wait and believe in their partners until they’re outside. The dojo breaks from the fighting and the kids realize what is going on but BanchouLeomon refuses to lift the barrier. He tells them to hurry up and finish their training. Outside, Agumon and co. continue to believe in Masaru and the others. BioThunderBirmon picks up Agumon and tells Masaru if he doesn’t come out Agumon will die. This causes Masaru’s digisoul to appear like it did last episode. BanchouLeomon tells him not to rely on emotions to control his digisoul. Masaru gains control of his digisoul because of his desire to protect Agumon and the others. BanchouLeomon tells everyone Masaru understands what a digisoul is now (it’s the power of a human’s feelings and how the Digimon respond to them). Touma and Yoshino gain their stronger digisouls and are told to strike their digivices with it by BanchouLeomon. Their digivices are repaired by what is called the digivice burst (digivices taking in human feelings and evolving). Their power breaks down the barrier and they rush to their digimon’s sides. Agumon digivolves into ShineGreymon, Gaomon into MirageGaogamon, and Raramon into Rosemon (all mega level Digimon). Kouki, Nanami, and Ivan are sent packing off a cliff. It is now evening and BanchouLeomon congrats the kids on mastering the power of the mega level digisoul. Masaru tells him some day he will fight him. BanchouLeomon instructs them to go to a place called the Holy Capital because there are those in need of their power there. |
