With Agumon once again by his side, Masaru charges Belphemon. The others are realize Agumon is back and believe now that the full team is there they now have a chance to win. The Digimon pick themselves up as Masaru and Agumon rush up a building so they can punch Belphemon in the face. Masaru and Agumon appear on the roof of a skyscraper and the other Digimon renew their assault on Belphemon. In the mayhem, Masaru and Agumon punch Belphemon together, knocking him to the ground. Masaru digivolves Agumon into ShineGreymon and joins the other Digimon. Touma passes out orders to the team and they begin to achieve success. The others notice that ShineGreymon’s power has increased since he was reborn. Belphemon begins to scream and Kurata’s head appears in the middle of his chest. He starts screaming Masaru’s last name and asks why the father and son must always stand in his way. Masaru calls his ambitions puny and says he will squash them flat. Belphemon’s chains break away from his body and go into the ground. They start to drain the city’s electricity which powers him up. Touma tells the Digimon to break the chains. Belphemon/Kurata destroys a DATS truck full of space-time oscillation bombs and swallows them-causing him to grow in size.
Yushima watches on with the rest of civilization and preys the team doesn’t die.
Belphemon goes on a rampage and Touma realizes that his attacks are ripping space-time and if it continues the digital world and human world will collide. Masaru refocuses the group by telling them this doesn’t change their mission. This makes everyone feel better and Touma orders the Digimon to support ShineGreymon. The team attack Belphemon/Kurata once more and seem to be winning. However, after their assault Belphemon/Kurata are still standing. Belphemon attacks the Digimon and RookChessmon/BishopChessmon change back into PawnChessmon. MirageGaogamon, Rosemon, and Ravemon are knocked into buildings. Touma begins to think it’s about to be over for them but Masaru says he won’t give up until he punches Kurata’s lights out. Masaru steps up to the plate and Belphemon attacks him. MirageGaogamon, Rosemon, and Ravemon take the blow for Masaru and are taken out of the fight. Masaru asks ShineGreymon for the power to save his friends and the world. ShineGreymon tells him that is the wrong idea. He tells him power can’t be borrowed or given but it can be combined. Masaru and ShineGreymon vow to protect their friends and the world. They begin glowing…
BanchouLeomon watches from the tallest skyscraper and says, “Here it comes!” (Sorry, I like to make fun of the fact that someone as strong as him ISN’T HELPING)
Masaru activates burst mode and ShineGreymon gains burst mode. BanchouLeomon confirms that this burst mode is the correct one unlike the last one. ShineGreymon and Belphemon begin fighting and every attack sent by Belphemon is easily evaded or blocked. ShineGreymon walks up to Belphemon will Masaru in his fist. Masaru punches Kurata’s head and ShineGreymon Belphemon’s head. Belphemon evaporates, leaving Kurata. Kurata says his dreams aren’t over yet and explodes a giant space-time oscillation bomb. A giant digital gate opens in the skies and Kurata dies, realizing his final has gone wrong. With the giant rift open, the digital world can be seen in the sky and likewise with the human world in the digital world. |
