Masaru and company are tracking a Numemon into a building. Touma tries to organize a plan with Masaru but Masaru tells him to stop ordering him around and runs off on his own to take on Numemon. Masaru and Touma both spot Numemon from their positions and order Gaomon/Agumon to attack. However, Gaomon and Agumon miss Numemon and attack each other by accident. Numemon unloads sludge all over Touma and Masaru but Yoshino and Raramon are able to turn Numemon back into a digitama. Masaru gets a ride home from Touma and tries to thank him for the ride but Touma reveals he was forced to by the captain. When Touma is about to drive off, Masaru’s mom and little sister appear to invite Touma for tea but Touma drives away.

It is night time and two robbers are breaking into a bank vault. While getting the cash, they lock themselves in the vault but a portal from the digital world opens and a Drimogemon appears. The Drimogemon drills a hole for the two robbers to escape and the three disappear.

At DATS they have now realized a Drimogemon has appeared in the real world and is with the bank thieves.

In the robber’s car, the younger one is asking his Aniki why they’re bringing the Digimon along with them and he tells him just wait and see.

Masaru shows up to HQ late because he had trouble getting away from his mom and Touma gives him a lashing. Masaru messes around on the computer and he accidentally erases all the records on Drimogemon. Touma, however, has a back up of the files. The team heads after Drimogemon when they detect his presence.

At an ATM the robbers tell Drimogemon to drill a hole. He does so and loads of money pours out. Masaru, Touma, and Yoshino arrive but the robbers and Drimogemon jump into their van and start to drive off. Masaru and Agumon jump in front of the car and begin pushing to halt its movement. This causes Drimogemon to increase in size. Masaru and Agumon try to fight him but they get tossed into the bay. Gaomon steps up and begins pushing him toward the boats while Raramon puts the robbers to sleep.

Touma continues fighting Drimogemon with his plan but Masaru and Agumon reappear and ruin it. Drimogemon drills underground and Touma predicts where he’ll show up next. He digivolves Gaomon into Gaogamon and heads off to stop Drimogemon.

Drimogemon reappears on the other side of the bay where Touma and Gaogamon are waiting. Drimogemon tries to escape into another hole but Masaru and Agumon are waiting for him. Agumon digivolves into GeoGreymon and GeoGreymon begins attacking. A gate to the digital world opens and Drimogemon begins to escape. Gaogamon and GeoGreymon attack from both sides of Drimogemon and their attacks neutralize each others. Drimogemon escapes back into the digital world and Masaru/Touma argue with each other about how they can never be a team.

At HQ Touma and Masaru argue with Captain Satsuma about being teamed up but Satsuma tells them they can’t argue with him. Kudamon tells everyone now that Drimogemon is back in the digital world he can tell everyone how great the real world is and bring more Digimon with him. Touma asks permission to go to the digital world but he is denied.

It is late at night and Yoshino and Raramon are drinking coffee and reading a kitty magazine. Yoshino notices the door open and heads out to see who is there. The door closes behind her and locks her out. Inside Touma opens a gate to the Digital world and disappears as Yoshino manages to get in.
