Inside the world tree, Yggdrasil and Craniummon are discussing Gallantmon and Crusadermon’s losses to the humans. Yggdrasil reaffirms they must destroy the human world to save their own and a voice is heard saying he will carry out the mission. The Royal Knight Duftmon appears and says he will do it. Craniummon is surprised because Duftmon has never volunteered for anything before but Yggdrasil trusts Duftmon.

Yoshino, Ikuto, and their Digimon are driving through an abandoned part of town. Yoshino informs everyone that DATS around the world are fighting the royal knights and the Noguchi’s are searching for a method to repair the dimensional barrier. The group spots a tornado near Masaru’s house and race to the house.

Inside the house, Sayuri and Chika witness a group of Digimon hit the ground. Yoshino and co. appear. The Digimon that fell are Biyomon, Pyocomon, Tokomon, Pukamon, Punimon, Otamamon, Babumon, Nyaromon, Poromon, and YukimiBotamon. Chika notices Biyomon and the memories of their time together race back. Chika lunges forward and hugs Biyomon, asking if she came to see her. Biyomon asks who she is. Inside Sayuri is nursing the baby Digimon and Raramon asks Chika if it is the same Biyomon. Chika says it is because she can tell. Falcomon says Biyomon doesn’t remember Chika because she turned back into a digitama. Chika asks Biyomon if she really forgotten and she says yes. Ikuto asks Falcomon if it is the same one to make sure and he confirms it. Yoshino asks Biyomon and the others how they got here. Biyomon explains that ever since the human world appeared in the digital world’s sky, natural disasters broke out. A tornado swept up Biyomon and the others and then dropped them there. Biyomon also tells them not everyone believes in Yggdrasil’s choice to wipe out the human world. Biyomon wonders what will happen to them and Yoshino says she will look after all of them so they don’t have to go back to all that chaos. Yoshino puts on an apron and begins cooking. Ikuto informs her of trouble and they discover Falcomon is being wrapped up in toilet paper by the baby Digimon. Biyomon says there is more trouble and they discover other baby Digimon flooding the tub. Yoshino goes to freeze some food and finds another in the freezer. Later on she sees Ikuto and two baby Digimon ripping a pillow apart. To make her day worse, a Digimon takes a dump next to her. Yoshino screams out and everyone calms down. Yoshino and Chika clean up the house. At dinner time Biyomon and the baby Digimon are hesitant to eat at first but eventually dig in when Chika offers them food. Yoshino asks Sayuri why she stayed behind and she says she wants to greet her family. Chika wonders how Masaru and Agumon are doing…

Masaru and Agumon are in a desert and are hungry and thirsty. Agumon notices something in the sky and a Digimon crashes into them. They discover it is Gotsumon. Masaru asks him how he fell from the sky and he says after they separated a tornado picked him up into the sky.

After dinner Ikuto, Falcomon, and Biyomon are watching the baby Digimon play. Ikuto asks Biyomon if she likes Masaru’s home and Biyomon responds that she hopes they’re not causing trouble and if it’s really ok for them to be there. Ikuto has a flashback of when he asked Masaru the same question. Ikuto tells Biyomon and the baby Digimon that he’ll be their Aniki and protect everyone. The baby Digimon start calling him Aniki and a pillow fight breaks out. Yoshino interrupts and yells at them but everything is interrupted by a loud explosion.

Outside, Duftmon is destroying the city. Yoshino and Ikuto tell everyone they’ll protect the house and head to the scene. When they arrive, they evolve Raramon and Falcomon into their mega levels. Duftmon starts fighting Rosemon and Ravemon. They tell Duftmon to leave the human world and he tells them they’re weak and not worth his time. Duftmon flies away but Ravemon and Rosemon attack once more. Duftmon knocks them to the ground.

At Masaru’s house, Chika runs outside to watch the battle. Biyomon joins her.

Duftmon tells Yoshino and Ikuto that the human world will be destroyed because Yggdrasil commands it. Duftmon uses a Sword of Destruction attack that lands near Masaru’s house. Rosemon tells Yoshino if they allow him to come any closer Chika and the others will be in danger. Ikuto tells Duftmon to stay away because there are Digimon up ahead. Duftmon tells him he doesn’t care because their lives are a small price to pay when it comes to saving the digital world. Duftmon uses Sword of Destruction again and this time the attack makes it way directly to Masaru’s house. Biyomon evolves to Garudamon and protects Chika and the house from the attack. Yoshino and Ikuto say they will protect everyone and gain their digisouls after seeing what Garudamon did. Ravemon and Rosemon evolve into their burst mode forms. Rosemon and Ravemon attack telling Duftmon one-sided justice isn’t justice at all (Duftmon keeps spouting stuff about justice during the entire battle). Rosemon and Ravemon defeat Duftmon who is sent back to the digital world as a digitama.
