Yoshino has just watched Touma use the digital dive to go to the digital world. The door opens behind her and Masaru and Agumon appear thinking they have “infiltrated” HQ so that they could go to the digital world. They see Yoshino and find out Touma made it there first. Masaru tries to convince Yoshino to help him go the digital world but she says no. Masaru/Agumon begin beating on the digital dive causing Yoshino to give because she is afraid it’ll break. Yoshino tells Masaru to bring Touma back and be back where they arrive at a certain time or they’ll be stuck there.

Masaru and Agumon land in the digital world. Agumon says it is his first time like Masaru to see the digital world where he has been in DATS all his life. They notice how digital everything is and see three different Digimon. After a little bit of sightseeing they start looking for Drimogemon.

While in some mountains Drimogemon briefly appears and disappears. Masaru/Agumon begin chasing.

At HQ Yoshino loses Masaru’s signal and is caught by Satsuma.

Masaru and Agumon continue chasing Drimogemon through his own tunnels but he is too fast for them. Drimogemon causes the ground to split beneath their feet and they land in a cave where Touma and Gaomon are at. The four are trapped and Masaru makes fun of Touma for being trapped like them. Masaru notices Touma is injured and helps him walk through the tunnel once Gaomon clears some rock.

At HQ Satsuma berates Yoshino for sending Masaru to the digital world and not alerting him of Touma’s departure.

Agumon spots Drimogemon from a higher tunnel and Masaru tells them to jump on Drimogemon’s back. Masaru grabs on to Drimogemon’s fur and begins controlling him as if he was a horse-using him to dig their way to the surface and finally into a crystal cave that Drimogemon won’t be able to escape from. Touma realizes that Masaru must’ve planned this from the start instead of just being impulsive.

Agumon and Gaomon digivolve into GeoGreymon and Gaogamon which seems to scare Drimogemon stiff.

At HQ they’re able to locate the four but notice Drimogemon is evolving.

In the digital world Drimogemon has now digivolved into Digmon. GeoGreymon and Gaogamon try attacking but their attacks have no effect. Digmon seems to have the advantage but Touma remembers how last their attacks cancelled each other out and if they combined their attacks instead then perhaps they would have a chance. Masaru agrees to follow his plan and GeoGreymon and Gaogamon combine their attacks, reducing Digmon back to a digitama.

Masaru and Touma exit the digital world and agree to work together.

At HQ Satsuma is angry that the two went to the digital world but is happy they have finally begun working together.
