Kamajii: The boiler/herb man who manages the boiler and fulfills the herbal soap orders for each bath upstairs. When Chihiro appears in his room asking for a job, he tells her no. However when Lin appears he protects Chihiro by saying she is his granddaughter and convinces Lin to take her to Yu-Baaba so that Chihiro can get a job. When Chihiro needs to reach Zeniiba’s house, Kamajii gives her train tickets that he has held in his possession for forty years. |
