With Dio/Luciola now aboard, Godwin tells them to stop where they are. Luciola says they’re exercising the Guild’s right to board. Gustavi tries to talk Godwin down and Dio warns him to be careful because Luciola is very strong. Godwin walks up to Luciola and throws a couple of punches. Luciola dodges every one of them and takes Luciola down with one move. Alex appears with some men to arrest Dio/Luciola and Dio tells Luciola to back down. Dio starts to talk to Luciola and they’re told to shut up. Dio then replies, “oh right, I’m a prisoner of war.” With a smirk on his face.
At the palace a debate is going on about Alvis being on board the Silvana. The emperor orders Alvis to be transported to the Urbanus.
In his study, Alex wakes up from a dream in which he is piloting a vanship alongside Exile.
In Maestro Delphine’s quarters she listens to a report about a vanship departing the emperor’s palace and heading towards the fleet located on the Norkia front. She asks where Dio is and her assistant says he hasn’t reported in.
Back in Alex’s study Alex asks Dio who he is and why he is there. Dio says he is there to see Claus because he can do some amazing turns. Alex asks him if he’s there for Alvis but he says he isn’t interested. To gain Alex’s trust he tells him the second riddle/poem that awakens Exile,
“What lies deep within the furthest reaches of the sky?”
Dio tells Alex that four mysteria were handed down to four guild houses. We learn that the Maestro only knows 1 mysteria but we don’t know how many Alex knows for sure besides the one he won, and the one just told to him by Dio.
In the hangar Lavie is now dressed like the other mechanics and works on their vanship. Dio appears and tells Claus that he was appointed Dio’s supervisor. Dio says he will look at Claus’s vanship and begins breaking down everything that is wrong with it. Dio asks what the Silvana uses as a power unit because nothing is registered with the Guild.
Tatiana is sent out to receive a message tube that was sent to them by the Urbanus. She then delivers it to Sophia and Alex. Vincent, the captain of the Urbanus, has requested a meeting with Alex. On his way out Alex tells Claus he is flying escort. Tatiana sees this and becomes peeved that she wasn’t chosen. Alistair then volunteers to be Claus’s navigator further angering Tatiana.
Alex’s transport and Claus/Alistair take off from the Silvana with Lavie/Alvis looking on.
Alex arrives at some towers built into some mountains where he is greeted by Vincent. Vincent begins making Alex some “battleship coffee”.
Outside Alistair tells Claus that she thinks something is going on in the skies because the stars are very unreliable.
Vincent tells Alex that he has been sent to retrieve something called the mysteria and Alvis from Alex. Alex says he won’t hand her over. Vincent says that if that is his wish then he will have to battle Alex when they next meet.
The towers begin to shake and we see the Urbanus departing. (The Urbanus is very different from the normal Anatoray ships.)
Back at the Silvana Dio and Luciola are looking at the Silvana’s engine. They see that it is a guild engine when the engineer comes in. He is in guild uniform and Dio begins asking him questions about how he got there. Dio notices the man plays chess and takes his leave, saying he will come back for a match.
In Sophia’s quarters a pigeon arrives with a message attached.
Elsewhere Alvis tells Dio she hates him because he calls her immelman. Dio tells Alvis he is going to recite to her a little poem, “What lies in deep in the furthest reaches of the skies?”
Around the ship odd things begin to happen and outside a storm immediately appears.
Back inside Alvis is glowing when Claus walks in. He asks Dio what he did to her and he responds that he just recited a poem.
The Silvana begins to change, Claudia goes up, steam rises, etc.
Alvis responds to Dio’s question, “That which will guide the lost child back to her mother’s arms, exile.” |
