Aboard Mad-Thanes ship, Vincent asks the Duke if it was wise allowing the Empress to visit Norkia alone.

At a mansion, Empress Sophia is in a garden with the Disith commander and presents a copy of the letter Claus and Lavie’s dads and Alex/Yuris tried to deliver. The letter was an offer of peace from the Anatoray to the Disith. Sophia tells the Disith commander that the only way to overthrow the guild and save the world from its current state is to form an alliance. The Disith commander asks Sophia who will be the leader of the alliance and Sophia says herself. They see some rain birds fly by overhead and say how the birds represent their hopes and dreams. The Disith commander holds out his frost bitten hand and shakes Sophia’s hands.

In her study, the Maestro talks to herself about how Disith and Anatoray are going to be allies.

Aboard Mad-Thanes ship, Sophia, Vincent, and the Duke view a map of the grand stream given to Sophia by the Disith. She also plays a recording of Exile.

On the bridge, Tatiana replays Sophia’s words “you’ll be a fine first officer” and she throws out a few practice orders.

In the hangar Tatiana notices Gustavi working on her vanship and thanks him. He tells Alister how he likes the change in her attitude and Tatiana smiles when she hears this from a distance.

Outside at the Horizon Caves, Mullin meets a Disith girl (soldier) named Dunya who is trying to eat a dove. This surprises him because to the Anatoray doves represent peace. (Dunya is the same girl who ambushed Claus/Tatiana in the desert.)

Ralph’s brother is explaining to the now allied forces that they will be attacking on what is called “Convent Day” The day that guild boys turn 17 and the day Dio fears…

The musketeers begin running exercises to take the Claudia units that power their warships.

Aboard the Silvana Godwin asks Luciola and Dio what they are doing. Godwin gives Luciola a piece of fruit. Luciola takes it to Dio to try and Dio loves it. However, when Luciola tries it he shows no expression like everyone else in the guild. (The only expressive people are Dio and Delphine) Dio tells Luciola he needs to show expression on his face if he likes or dislikes something.

In the mess hall Mullin reveals that he is leaving the Silvana and going to be a musketeer once again. Mullin asks Claus what he plans on doing and he says he is going to stay on the Silvana because he likes how the sky looks from it.

The Silvana is now repaired and begins to take off.

In the hanger Alex appears before Claus and Lavie. Claus tells him he doesn’t plan on leaving. Alex tells Claus to take a vanship to the coronation of Sophia and to congratulate her for him.

The coronation of Sophia begins. It is held outside with both the Disith and Anatoray present. The knife that killed her father is present and some is boiling (I swear I think it’s her father’s body but I hope it isn’t because that’s just weird…) She holds up a key staff and unlocks a mechanism that begins to spin. Mad-Thane gives a mini-speech and then he and the Disith commander shake hands. The ships fire their guns, and some vanships fly by dropping smoke. Claus/Tatiana and Dio/Luciola fly by with their vanships as well. Dio begins to show off but then rose pedals start to fall from the sky. His attitude immediately shifts…

The clouds begin to spread as Maestro Delphine’s ship descends with rose pedals falling from the havens. Dio begins to scream that Delphine found him and flys eratically away from the coronation. Vincent tries to take Sophia away but she stays, saying it is a declaration of war.

At her throne, Delphine says how much prettier the ceremony is and learns that Dio has been spotted.

Aboard the Silvana, Alex learns a guild warship is above the ceremony spreading rose pedals. He sits there for a second as if uninterested, but then immediately stands up and orders them to shoot it down. Alex gets a crazed look in his eyes and curses his officers for not telling the gunners not to listen to the captain. (They won’t pass on his order because shooting down Delphine could endanger Sophia)

Delphine’s ship disappears into the clouds.
