The battle continues to wage on at Minagith between Anatoray and Disith. A second Disith fleet has appeared above the Anatoray fleet and opened fire which is against guild regulations. However, the Guild doesn’t do anything about it and we see Guild members talking about how Maestro Delphine will be pleased about Anatoray losing.

Anatoray ships continue to sink while the Goliath retreats (which has no damage…)

At the refueling depot a vanship takes off and heads to the Anatoray kingdom to deliver the news of the battle. We see Anatoray’s leader telling what looks like a guild member to deliver the “package” to the safest place possible so it doesn’t fall into the enemies hands.

On deck Claus and Lavie attempt to deliver their letters to Mad-Thane personally but soldiers kick them out. Below deck Mullin picks himself up out of the dying soldiers saying he only needs to survive a few more battles to get out of “this way of life.” Back at command Mad-Thane picks up one of the letters dropped by Claus and Lavie when they were kicked out.

Claus and Lavie begin prepping their ship and Claus regrets not being able to personally deliver the message to Mad-Thane. Claus and Lavie realize they forgot to deliver his daughters letter. Claus begins to hack into the ships communications system so that he and Lavie can read Mad-Thane’s daughter’s letter to Mad-Thane. The letter basically asks when is Mad-Thane coming home, talks about a olive tree and how the tree can make wishes come true, peace, and some other non-important stuff.

The majority of the Anatoray soldiers react to the concept of peace in a negative way however Mullin seems to listen. While reading the letter soldiers try to break into the hangar to stop the reading of the letter but Claus holds them off for a few moments while Lavie takes over the reading. The soldiers break in and hold their rifles to their heads. Mullin shows up and holds a rifle to his fellow soldiers heads so that Claus and Lavie can continue reading the letter.

Claus and Lavie argue with the second-in-command guy about chivalry and Lavie tells him to screw it. Mad-Thane tells his soldiers to lower their weapons and orders a retreat of his fleet instead of fighting to the death. (I assume the whole thing about chivalry means the Anatoray would’ve fought to the death instead of saving what they have for a later battle.)

Mad-Thane tells Claus and Lavie that he would like to hire them to deliver a message to Holly, his daughter. The message is that he will return home some day. Claus and Lavie take off.

While flying away they realize they need to help the Anatoray fleet because the Disith are closing in around them. They attempt to contact the Guild to force a cease fire but the Guild just ignores them. They decide to drop blue smoke in between the two fleets. While dropping smoke Tatiana tells them to get out of the way because they’re in the Silvana’s line of fire. They fly into a Disith ship and Tatiana blows it up.

The Silvana appears and opens fire on the Disith fleet to allow Anatoray to escape. The Silvana disappears below cloud cover and the Anatoray get away.

At Mad-Thanes house Claus and Lavie deliver Mad-Thanes message. Lavie and Claus realize that in all the commotion they forgot to be in the time-attack for a upcoming vanship race so they have to start last.
