The first acoustic torpedo explodes and the listener hears something. A destroyed Disith warship is discovered and the two vessels proceed on.

A cargo ship flies in between the Silvana and Urbanus to deliver more acoustic torpedoes.

In the hangar Sophia and Alex explain that they will use anchor torpedoes to capture Exile. Alex says Exile is covered with a cacoon. Sophia tells Tatiana/Alister will be the lead vanship and that Claus/Dio will be flying together. Dio says he can’t fly in the same skies as Delphine and walks away.

Alvis has a dream that she is lying in a field of grain and sees Exile above her. She begins to speak a strange language (I think greek) and the weather changes. She then wakes up. Alvis tells Claus she needs to check on Dio’s cake and heads off to the kitchen.

Acoustic torpedoes continue to be fired off as Alvis makes Dio’s cake. Sophia is informed they have five sectors left to search and only three torpedoes left.

In the engine room the engineer tries to get Dio to play chess but he says no.

Aboard the Disith commander’s ship, the Claudia unit is detached.

Aboard Mad-Thanes ship, the two commanders discuss proceeding with the operation early since the guild has been taking away their Claudia units one after another. Mad-Thane convinces the Disith to wait until the original date.

Alvis heads into the engine room to retrieve Dio and pulls him away to a room where Claus, Lavie, and the mechanics are waiting for his birthday. Everyone give him some gifts, dirty magazines, goggles from Claus which makes Dio happy, and cake from Alvis that doesn’t look too good. Dio tries it and loves it.

The echo listener hears what she thinks could be Exile. The ships change direction and then the listener confirms it, Exile.

The mission to capture Exile begins and Godwin orders Dio to be Claus’s navigator. Dio asks Lucciola how to respond to an order and Lucciola says, “Aye, aye, sir.”

Delphine is informed that Dio is aboard the Silvana and she orders her men to capture Dio. She says the lead man is heartless when she mentions Lucciola may try and stop them and we learn the man is Lucciola’s brother.

Alex orders Alvis to the bridge.

Dio starts telling Lavie specifics to do the vanship.

The vanships launch with cables attached. A ship immediately spirals out and is reeled back in. Tatiana/Alister and Claus/Dio launch.

Dio is amazed by the feeling of the stream because you can’t feel any of it in a guild ship. Dio tells immelman how good of a pilot he is and continues feeding him advice on flying in the grand stream. The vanships discover Exile’s location and the two battleships advance to get closer. They begin dropping torpedoes and exile’s defenses activate.

Tentacles begin chasing immelman and Dio but they pull away. Dio tells them they need to destroy some surface cubes with torpedoes to get past the defenses. Claus goes in for a dive and tentacles begin chasing them. Dio launches a torpedo and hits their target. Claus/Dio return to the Silvana behind Tatiana/Alister.

Alex pulls Sophia aside and gives Sophia the mysteria and tells her to take Alvis. Alex says he has fulfilled his debt to Marius and will do as he pleases.

Silvana attaches to Exile as Delphines special squadron lands on the Silvana’s deck.
