Lucciola is the personal body guard of Dio and has been since he was very little. He is very serious like the other guild members but Dio begins to break that and shows him kindness. (Delphine despises him because Dio clearly loves Lucciola)

Throughout the series he is always at Dio's side but plays an important role when Dio is captured by Delphine and transformed. Disobeying the Guild, he helps Claus, Alvis, and Dio escape from the Guild and breaks into Delphine's throne room. He fights and kills his brother Secaeda before asking Delphine for Dio's freedom. He dies when Delphine gives him a ring that makes him turn into dust. As he dies, he realizes him and Dio were best friends.
