	-Episode 1 "Homecoming" Naruto and Jiraiya return to the leaf village and are greeted by Sakura, Konohamaru, Udon, and Moegi. Sakura notices how much Naruto has grown physically but sees that he still the same guy he has always been when he tries to show Konohamaru his new perverted jutsu. Eventually Jiraiya and Naruto, with Sakura at their side, report to Tsunade who tells Naruto there is someone she would like him to fight so she can see the results of his training... Click here for the entire guide... -Episode 2 "Akatsuki, Makes a Move" Shikamaru and Temari pay a visit to Tsunade making Naruto think they are his opponents. Tsunade tells him no and tells him to look out the window where he sees Kakashi. Naruto gives Kakashi Jiraiya's new book and Tsunade tells Naruto that he and Sakura will fight Kakashi. Kakashi disappears so he can begin reading the book and tells the two to meet him at the training group. Meanwhile, Naruto catches up with Shikamaru and Temari and learns that everyone in their age group has become a chuunin except for him and Sasuke. He also learns that Gaara has become kazekage. Later that day, Naruto and Sakura meet up with Kakashi and learn they will have to take the bell test all over again. In the desert, two Akatsuki members infiltrate the sand village thanks to a traitor inside the village's ranks. Their goal? The demon inside the Kazekage, Shukaku... Click here for the entire guide... -Episode 3 "Results of Training" Naruto and Sakura begin their fight with Kakashi. Kakashi tries using the same tricks he used on them the first test but they all fail. In the Sand Village, Deidara surveys the village by air and takes out the guards watching the skies. When Deidara lands, he is met by none other than the Kazekage himself, Gaara! Click here for the entire guide... -Episode 4 "The Sand's Jinchuuriki" Naruto and Sakura continue fighting Kakashi with no end in sight. They eventually sit down and think about what Kakashi's weakness could be. Naruto figures it out and they attack Kakashi. Naruto begins telling Kakashi the ending to his new book, forcing Kakashi to cover his ears, and close his eyes (so he doesn't read their lips). With his eyes and ears covered, Naruto and Sakura steal the bells. In the sand village, Gaara and Deidara begin their battle. Deidara manages to get past Gaara's initial defenses and set off an explosion. However, Gaara surrounds himself in sand and surprises Deidara with a Desert Prison. Is this the end for Deidara? Click here for the entire guide... -Episode 5 "As the Kazekage...!" Deidara manages to escape Gaara's Desert Prison. However, his left arm is soon caught when Gaara uses the special sand that makes up his "Absolute Defense". Gaara uses Desert Coffin and crushes Deidara's arm. Deidara escapes further injury and prepares his speciality. Baki tells Kankuro they need to prepare the village in case Gaara loses control and Shukaku emerges. Kankuro tells Baki of a conversation he had with Gaara where Gaara said that because of Naruto he has changed. This inspires Baki who begins shouting orders to support the Kazekage. Deidara drops his specialty on the village and it explodes in a Hirsohima fashion. Tsunade informs Naruto and Sakura that they will be part of a team with Kakashi. Later that night, Jiraiya tells Kakashi that he is leaving Naruto in his hands while he spies on Akatsuki. Naruto asks Sakura on a date but seems to be without enough money to pay... Click here for the entire guide... -Episode 6 "Art is a Blast!" Gaara is able to save the village from Deidara's specialty by blocking the explosion with his sand. However, while Gaara is occupied, Deidara sneaks one of his clay birds near Gaara and explodes it. Gaara's sand protects him but Deidara has another surprise. To Gaara's surprise, small holes begin appearing in his absolute defense. Clay spiders burrow out that Deidara created when Gaara crushed his arm. With the spiders through Gaara's absolute defense, Deidara explodes them. Gaara's absolute defense falls away and with the last bit of his power, Gaara moves the sand that he protected the village with away so it doesn't damage to village when he falls unconcious. Baki orders the sand ninja to fire on Deidara but he simply evades them. Gaara falls unconcious and Deidara captures him, flying back to Master Sasori. Naruto arrives at Ichiraku Ramen where he catches up with Iruka. The two discuss Naruto's training and Gaara becoming kazekage. Click here for the entire guide... -Episode 7 "Dash, Kankurou" Kankuro pursues Deidara with a squad. When he arrives at the village entrance one of Sasori's traps is set off, killing everyone but he and two others. Baki arrives with more men to see the damage and tries to stop Kankuro from chasing after Akatsuki without help to no avail. Baki orders for a squad to tail Kankuro and for the village's fastest messenger bird to send word of what has happened to Konoha. Kankuro runs into some fork in the roads set up by Sasori but figures out a way past them, eventually catching up to the two Akatsuki. Kankuro summons his three puppets and Deidara goes on ahead with Gaara in his clutches. Kankuro tries to stop Deidara but Sasori grabs hold of one of Kankuro's puppets with his tail. Temari sets out for home and is walked to the village gate by Shikamaru. Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi group up for their first mission as Team Kakashi, but Kakashi notices something in the air...the Sand's fastest messenger bird! What has happened...? Click here for the entire guide... -Episode 8 "Team Kakashi Heads Out!" The Sand Village begins clearing the entrance to the village. Baki's pursuit squad assembles and he dispatches it after Kankuro and Akatsuki. Takamaru, the Sand's fastest messenger bird, arrives in Konoha and a decoder decodes the Sand's message, immediately alerting Tsunade of it's contents. Team Kakashi arrives in Tsunade's office for their first mission. Naruto complains but when the decoder alerts Tsunade of what has happened he and Team Kakashi are given a new mission, find out more about Gaara's kidnapping and assist the Sand in any way possible. Jiraiya receives intel about Gaara's kidnapping and tells Tsunade as she is saying good bye to Team Kakashi as they leave the village. Jiraiya questions Tsunade about sending Naruto on a mission dealing with Akatsuki but later accepts it. Team Kakashi leaves for the Sand Village. Kankuro continues fighting Sasori but is unable to land a blow. Sasori reads every one of Kankuro's attacks and we learn the reason is because Sasori designed the puppets. Sasori poisons Kankuro and leaves him to die. Temari receives a bad omen... Click here for the entire guide... -Episode 9 "Jinchuuriki Tears" Team Kakashi comes upon Temari on their way to the Sand Village. They tell her the news about Gaara’s kidnapping and continue together towards the Sand Village. Throughout the trip, Sakura tries to get Naruto to slow down, so Naruto reveals to her and Temari that he has the Kyuubi inside of him. Naruto tells them that because he has a monster inside of him he can relate to Gaara and feels a need to rescue him. Kankuro is brought back to the Sand Village but nothing can be done for him because of his poisoning. Baki seeks the help of the “siblings”, two retired ninja of the Sand Village to help Kankuro and the village.
