Okusare (Stink Spirit): Okusare is the stink spirit. He comes into the bath house and is the first customer Chihiro must take care of. Although at first thought to be a stink spirit, he is really the river god Kawa no Kami. When Chihiro gives him a bath, she discovers something stuck in his side and along with all the workers of the bath house manages to pull out a heap of garbage. Okusare’s true form is a small head resembling a brown old man and can turn into a dragon like Haku. As a thank you gift, he gives Chihiro a small brown piece of food that Chihiro will give to Haku and No-face later on.
